Older Carers and Social Supports

This section of the hub provides data and insights on Carers in Ireland (who they are, how many hours of caring they provide, etc.) and the extent to which people in Ireland can rely on informal social supports (assistance from neighbours for example). Family and household structures in Ireland are evolving. This has implications for the role of care givers and the communities in ensuring that people remain connected and supported in older age.
