This indicator refers to older person's interactions with the health services in Ireland. 

It includes data relating to the following in the previous 12 months:

• Preventative service usages
• GP consultations
• Prevalence of in-patient or day-case admissions to hospital
• Use of prescription and non-prescription drugs
