This indicator refers to older person's interactions with the health services in Ireland. 

It includes data relating to the following in the previous 12 months

  • Visits or consultations with medical professionals in the past 12 months
  • Prevalence of in-patient or day-case admissions to hospital
  • Use of prescription and non-prescription drugs
Persons with visits or Consultations with Medical Professionals in the past 12 months by age group
Persons with visits or Consultations with Medical Professionals in the past 12 months by age group
Percentage of persons that had in-patient or day-case admissions in the previous 12 months by age
Percentage of persons that used prescribed and non-prescribed medicines in the two weeks prior to interview by age group
