Changes to methodology and data sources in this year's Annual National Accounts include:

  • New estimates of volume measures for the health sector, Nace Rev2 '86' Human health activities, effecting Table 3.6.
  • Changes to Gross Fixed Capital Formation to fully align the national presentation with the data transmitted to Eurostat under the ESA2010 regulation. In table 8.1 and 8.3, Net additions to the breeding stocks have been removed as a line item from this table. They are now included in gross domestic fixed capital formation (GFCF). Valuables have been reclassified from GFCF. They are now included in value of physical changes in stocks. These changes have been made to align with European system of accounts 2010 (ESA 2010) classifications.
