People with disabilities

This section looks at people with a disability based on Census response. From the publication Analysis of People Experiencing Long-Lasting Conditions or Difficulties 2022 - 2024, it also includes a table on employment of those with a disability. 

Number of people with a disability by sex
Proportion (%) of people with a disability by sex and single year of age
Persons with a disability as a percentage of the population by local electoral area and sex
Persons with a disability as a percentage of the population by local electoral area and sex
Number of persons aged 25 and over with a disability and living with their parents by sex and extent of difficulty or condition
Number of persons aged 25 and over with a disability and living with their parents by sex and extent of difficulty or condition
Number of people with a disability by employment status and sex

This figure shows the percentage of working age people (15-64 years) who reported experiencing at least one long-lasting condition or difficulty to a great extent in Census 2022. Please refer to the Analysis of People Experiencing Long-Lasting Conditions or Difficulties 2022 - 2024 release for further detail.
