Health

  • On Census night 2016, 86% of confirmed cases stated they were in good or very Good General Health, 9% said they had fair General Health with 2% stating bad or very bad General Health.
  • In total, 84% of confirmed cases stated they did not have a disability. While, 8% of cases experienced a difficulty with basic physical activities and 8% of cases stated they had another disability, including chronic illness. 
  • Three quarters (75%) of confirmed cases stated that they experienced no difficulty in relation to going outside the home alone, working at a job or school / college or participating other activities.

Education

  • Over half (52%) of confirmed cases stated that their highest level of education was upper secondary or lower in April 2016.
  • The most commonly taken fields of study by those affected by COVID-19 were nursing and caring (8%), business and administration (2%), accounting and taxation (2%).
