The Central Statistics Office publishes statistical data products in the following product formats:
The majority of CSO statistical outputs are published as a statistical releases. These outputs are often accompanied by various communications supports such as Press Releases, Infographics, FAQs, Information Notes and Technical Notes. The data supporting these statistical releases are also published on the CSO’s PxStat database.
CSO Frontier Series outputs may use new methods which are under development and / or data sources which may be incomplete, for example new administrative data sources. Publishing outputs under the Frontier Series allows the CSO to provide useful new information to users and get informed feedback on these new methods and outputs whilst at the same time make sure that the limitations are well explained and understood. A Hub brings together all the statistics the CSO holds on a specific topic in one centralised location, making it easier for users to access the information. These statistics come from a wide variety of sources, primarily from the Central Statistics Office, as well as other government bodies. The data presented in the Hubs is updated as soon as new information becomes available.
CSO Interactive Data Visualisations present data in an engaging, visual way on the CSO Visual Platform. Through these visualisation apps you can interact with CSO statistics on a number of themes and topics such as house prices, baby names, vehicle licensing trends, key economic figures and more.
