Given the complexity of the foreign multi-nationals in the economy, an inadvertent error in the estimates for this sector published in November 2017 had to be corrected on 22 February 2018. While the total for non-financial corporations (S.11) was correct, the property income paid (D.4 uses) by foreign MNEs (S.11a) was over-estimated. This has a knock on effect on D.4 uses for other non-financials (S.11b) and for the balancing items in the sequence of accounts; consequently the balance of primary incomes (B.5g), gross disposable income (B.6g), gross saving (B.8g), net lending/borrowing (B.9) and change in net worth (B.10.1) have also been adjusted for S.11a and S.11b. The overall values for S.11 are unchanged. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
