Following a review of the imputation method used in the Household Travel Survey releases for Q2 2023 to Q3 2025, processing issues were identified in the expenditure imputation step.
As a result, the data were revised on 11 June 2026. The updated method provides a more accurate reflection of estimated trip expenditure where reported cost was incomplete and resulted in revisions to some previously published outbound and domestic expenditure estimates. Trip and night counts are not affected. The content related to the tables, including the text of the statistical release and PxStat tables now reflect the revised data.
