Respondents were asked if their child participates in a regular leisure activity (swimming, playing an instrument, youth organisations, etc.). Older children were more likely to be participating in regular leisure activities with over nine in ten children aged 9 to 12 years (90.7%) and 13 to 14 years (90.3%) doing so, compared with eight in ten (80.0%) children aged 3 to 8 years.
