Purchasing Power Parities (PPP) surveys run by the CSO are funded by the European Union through annual grants administered by Eurostat.

Ireland had the highest price level for Tobacco of the 36 countries

Ireland had the highest price level for Tobacco of the 36 countries, with prices 159% above the EU27 average. Turkiye was the least expensive for Tobacco, at 74% below the EU27 average. 

Bulgaria was the least expensive country for Tobacco in the European Union while Croatia was the least expensive in the Eurozone.
 
Table 4.1 below shows the summary results, while Figure 4.1 and Map 4.1 shows the detailed results for the 36 countries.
