Purchasing Power Parities (PPP) surveys run by the CSO are funded by the European Union through annual grants administered by Eurostat.
The Non-Alcoholic Beverages category includes coffee, tea and cocoa, mineral waters, soft drinks and concentrates, fruit and vegetable juices. Of the 36 countries, price levels for Non-Alcoholic Beverages were highest in Ireland, 40% above the EU27 average. The least expensive country for Non-Alcoholic Beverages was North Macedonia where price levels were 22% below the EU27 average, see Table 12.1 below.
Italy was the least expensive in the EU27 for Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
