Table 6.1 shows that while the price of Bread & Cereals in Ireland was 19% above the EU28 average, the highest price levels were in Norway (67% above the EU28 average) and the lowest price levels were observed in Romania (46% below the EU28 average). Of the Eurozone countries Austria had the highest price levels, 35% above the EU28 average, while the lowest prices were observed in Lithuania, 19% below the EU28 average. Denmark was the most expensive of the European Union Countries while Romania was the least expensive country.
Of the 37 countries Ireland was the 10th most expensive. Ireland was the 7th most expensive of the European Union countries and the 5th most expensive of the Eurozone countries.
