  • 55% of the products produced in 2021 were classified as European and 45% as National
  • 51 EU Regulations mandated the collection of those European outputs

  • 22% of products used administrative data only as their source data in 2021, down from 25% in 2020.
  • 23% used survey data as their source in 2021, up from 22% in 2020
  • 34% used a combination of survey and administrative data as their source data, down from 53% for the previous year
  • For the first time, 8% of products used ‘other data’ only as their source in 2021
  • 13% of products used a combination of “other data sources”, survey data and administrative data as their source data in 2021.
