Our statistics about Ireland are independent and reliable, because you told us.
The information you give us lets us create a very accurate picture of what it means to live in Ireland today - our lives, our economy, our health, our education, our happiness and well-being.
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Household Survey covers a range of topics related to internet use and use of ICT by households and individuals, and is conducted every year as part of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) and Digital Scoreboard.
It is the official source of data on connectivity, human capital, use of internet services, and integration of digital technology in Ireland and helps us to measure the progress of EU countries towards a digital economy and society.
So, if you are asked to take part in one of our surveys, please do.

Last year, we asked a random sample of the population to take part in a series of short, topical surveys. This survey is being sent to those who have agreed to complete this. Many thanks.
Taking part is voluntary but it is important that as many people as possible take part. If you want to opt out at any time, simply email household_ict@cso.ie and we will remove your name from this survey.
