The Irish Disability Survey is a nationwide survey of individuals carried out by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Your participation in this new survey is important, as it will gather data on the issues facing disabled people today.
You have been randomly selected to take part in the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Irish Disability Survey. Those with and those without disabilities are being asked to participate.
The Irish Disability Survey (IDS) needs information from all people. However, as we cannot survey every person in the state, your participation is extremely important because you represent similar people who have not been selected. The survey will provide reliable data about people in Ireland, which can then be used to inform disability related policies.
Your child has been randomly selected to take part in the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Irish Disability Survey (IDS). We are asking you to participate and answer on behalf of your child. If your child is aged between 15 and 17, we ask that they complete the survey themselves if possible.

Please take part because your voice matters.

Roghnaíodh thú go randamach chun páirt a ghlacadh i Suirbhé um Míchumas in Éirinn de chuid na Príomh-Oifige Staidrimh (CSO). Iarrtar ar dhaoine le míchumas agus ar dhaoine gan mhíchumas páirt a ghlacadh.
Tá eolas ó gach duine de dhíth ar Suirbhé um Míchumas in Éirinn (SMÉ). Mar sin féin, ós rud é nach féidir linn suirbhé a dhéanamh ar gach duine sa Stát, tá do rannpháirtíocht thar a bheith tábhachtach mar go ndéanann tú ionadaíocht ar dhaoine eile nár roghnaíodh agus atá cosúil leat. Soláthróidh an suirbhé sonraí iontaofa faoi dhaoine in Éirinn, a fhéadfar a úsáid ansin mar bhonn eolais do bheartais a bhaineann le míchumas.
Roghnaíodh do leanbh go randamach chun páirt a ghlacadh i Suirbhé um Míchumas in Éirinn (SMÉ) arna reáchtáil ag an bPríomh-Oifig Staidrimh (CSO). Táimid ag iarraidh ort páirt a ghlacadh agus an suirbhé a fhreagairt thar ceann do linbh. Má tá do leanbh idir 15 agus 17 mbliana d’aois, ba mhaith linn dá líonfaidís féin isteach an suirbhé más féidir.
Tá faisnéis ag teastáil don Suirbhé um Míchumas in Éirinn (SMÉ) ó gach duine. Iarrtar ar dhaoine faoi mhíchumas agus ar dhaoine nach bhfuil faoi mhíchumas páirt a ghlacadh ann. Soláthraíonn an suirbhé sonraí iontaofa faoi dhaoine in Éirinn, ar féidir iad a úsáid chun bonn eolais a chur faoi bheartais a bhaineann le míchumas.
Glac páirt, le do thoil, mar tá tábhacht le do ghuth.
Mura bhfuil tú ábalta an suirbhé seo a dhéanamh ar líne, agus dá mba mhaith leat a bheith páirteach ann, cuir glaoch ar an uimhir 021-453 5110 (Luan go hAoine: 9:00-17:00) nó seol ríomhphost chuig CSOTakePart@cso.ie
