The Irish Disability Survey (IDS) is a nationwide survey of individuals carried out by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Your participation in this new survey is important, as it will gather data on the issues facing disabled people today.
You have been randomly selected to take part in the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Irish Disability Survey. Both disabled and non-disabled people are being asked to participate.
The Irish Disability Survey needs information from all kinds of people. However, as we cannot survey every person in the state, your participation is extremely important because you represent similar people who have not been selected. The survey will provide reliable data about people in Ireland, which can then be used to inform disability related policies.
Your child has been randomly selected to take part in the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Irish Disability Survey. Parents of both disabled and non-disabled children are being asked to participate and answer on behalf of their child. If your child is aged between 15 and 17, we ask that they complete the survey themselves, if possible.
The Irish Disability Survey needs information from all kinds of people. However, as we cannot survey every person in the state, it is important that the voices of younger people are heard. The survey will provide reliable data about people in Ireland, which can then be used to inform disability related policies. Please take part because your voice matters
