Dublin and the South-West (Cork and Kerry) were the most expensive regions to buy Residentially Zoned Land in 2024, with median prices per acre of €643k and €363k, respectively.
The land was most affordable in the Mid-West (Clare, Limerick, and Tipperary) region, where the median price was €98k per acre (See Map 2.1).

The highest volume of Residentially Zoned Land, 179 acres, was sold in the Mid-West region.
Purchasers of Residentially Zoned Land the Mid-East (Kildare, Louth, Meath, and Wicklow) region spent €53.4 million, more than in any other region. At the other end of the spectrum, €5.1 million was spent on Residentially Zoned Land in the Midlands region (See Table 2.1).
Dublin was the most expensive region to buy Residentially Zoned Land, with a median price per acre of €643k. Kildare and Sligo were next most expensive with median prices per acre of €470k and €417k, respectively.
The land was least expensive in Tipperary, where the median price was €63k per acre (See Map 2.2).
