- In 2022 the Gross General Government Debt was €224.8 billion compared with the 2021 figure of €236.1 billion
- The Gross General Government Debt as a % of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2022 was 44.7%
- Gross Debt per person in 2022 was €44,068 compared with €47,115 in 2021
- General Government Expenditure was €107.5 billion in 2022 compared to €105.7 billion in 2021
- General Government Revenue was €115.5 billion in 2022 compared to €98.9 billion in 2021
