Aviation Statistics

Survey purpose:

The aviation statistics release provides information on the number of passengers and freight handled by the five main airports, Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Knock and Shannon.

S.I. No. 10/2020 - Statistics (Carriage of Passengers, Freight and Mail by Air) Order 2020.

The results are based on a full census, i.e. all variables are fully reported by each airport to the Central Statistics Office.

Administrative Data is received on a monthly basis from the main Irish airports and we receive data annually from the regional airports.
