Educational Attainment Thematic Report

Survey purpose:

This report is based on the Labour Force Survey (LFS) (formally known as the Quarterly National Household Survey (QNHS)) data. The LFS is a large-scale, nationwide survey of households in Ireland. It is designed to produce quarterly labour force estimates that include the official measure of employment and unemployment in the state (International Labour Organisation classification). Questions on educational attainment are included in the core LFS questionnaire each quarter.
