In February 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and and the Department of Transport (DoT) in relation to Department of Transport Data (DoT Data). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Pádraig Dalton, Director-General of the CSO, and Ms Sorcha O'Callaghan, Senior Statistician, Department of Transport.
The purpose of this MoU is to clarify the roles and responsibilities of, as well as the areas of cooperation between, CSO and Department of Transport with regard to DoT data.
