In January 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding between the CSO and DCEDIY was signed between the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Pádraig Dalton, Director-General of the CSO, and Mr. Kevin McCarthy, Secretary General of DCEDIY.
The purpose of this MoU is to clarify the roles and responsibilities of, as well as the areas of cooperation between, the CSO and the DCEDIY with regard to AEYSP, ECCE, NCS-EYP, and BOTP Accommodation data.
