In November 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding between the CSO and Transport Infrastructure Ireland was signed between the Central Statistics Office (CSO) ad Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) in relation to provision of Traffic Monitoring Unit Data. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Pádraig Dalton, Director-General of the CSO, and Mr Peter Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
The purpose of this MoU is to clarify the roles, as well as the areas of cooperation between, CSO and TII with regard to the transmission and use of the Data.
