In August 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Statistics Office and The Teaching Council was signed between the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and The Teaching Council in relation to information concerning the Register of Teachers in Ireland. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Pádraig Dalton, Director-General of the CSO, and Dr Lynn Ramsey, Director of The Teaching Council.
The purpose of this MoU is to clarify the roles and responsibilities of, as well as the areas of cooperation between, the CSO and The Teaching Council regarding information concerning the Register of Teachers.
