Births to Women aged under 20 decreased by 50.5% in ten years, down from 1,380 in 2013 to 683 in 2023.
The Average age of mothers increased by 3.1% in ten years, up from 32.2 years in 2013 to 33.2 years in 2023.
Main Causes of death in Ireland
Deaths from malignant neoplasms increased by 17.1% in ten years, up from 8,725 in 2013 to 10,221 in 2023.
Deaths from circulatory diseases increased by 3.3% in ten years, up from 9,473 in 2013 to 9,784 in 2023.
Deaths from respiratory diseases increased by 17.7% in ten years, up from 3,504 in 2013 to 4,124 in 2023.
