Imported water comprised 59 million litres or 11% of total non-alcoholic beverage imports, valued at €25.6 million.
Imports of non-alcoholic beer comprised 33.5 million litres, or 6.5% of total non-alcoholic imports, with a value of €23.5 million. 85% of non-alcoholic beer imports were from the UK (14.9 million litres) and the Netherlands (13.6 million litres). Ireland’s exports of non-alcoholic beer comprised almost 51 million litres, worth €49 million. 93% of exported non-alcoholic beer went to the UK, valued at €43 million.

Ireland imported almost 85 million litres of wine in 2024, a decrease of 24% on the 2020 level of imports of 111 million litres. The total value of wine imports in 2024 was €340 million, and the top five import partners comprised 72% of the total value.
The largest partner country was France, with wine imports valued at €75 million, followed by Chile with wine imports valued at €53 million. While the value of French wine imports exceeded Chilean wine imports by almost €22 million, the quantity of Chilean wine imports surpassed the quantity from France, with 13.6 million litres imported from France and 16.8 million litres imported from Chile.
