SDG 7.a.1 International financial flows to developing countries in support of clean energy research and development and renewable energy production, including in hybrid systems - this data is provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The value of aid for clean energy research and development was €5.1 million in 2019, out of total Official Development Assistance (ODA) of €869.5 million, or just under 1% of the total ODA. See Table 5.1.
SDG 7.b.1 Investments in Energy Efficiency as a Proportion of GDP and the Amount of Foreign Direct Investment in Financial Transfer for Infrastructure and Technology to Sustainable Development Services - this data is provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The value of these investments dropped from €1.8 million in 2019 to €1.5 million in 2020. See Table 5.2.
