The suspected offender was known to the victim in:
- seven in ten (70%) detected crime incidents of Sexual offences
- two out of three (65%) detected crime incidents of Assaults & Related offences
2023
Detected Crime incidents of Harassment & Related offences:
- a quarter (23%) of suspected offenders were under 18 years when the incident occurred
- seven in ten (69%) recorded victims were female
2024
Crime incidents of Sexual offences:
- three in ten (30%) reported incidents occurred more than ten years before
- male victims reporting historical incidents nearly doubled to 645
