Household median net wealth1 is up 29% since 2020
It was €159,700 in 2018, €198,400 in 2020 and €256,900 in 2023.
The wealthiest 10% of households have net wealth over €1,024,000. The bottom 10% have less than €2,400.
Owner-occupiers have a median net wealth of €391,600 compared with €10,200 for renters.
The percentage of households with some form of debt in 2018 was 74%, in 2020 it was 69% and in 2023 it was 66%.
