Services Producer Price Index
Collection of Service Producer Prices for calculation of indices published in a quarterly release. The indices are used as a short-term indicators within the national accounts system to measure growth in the economy drawn from price changes in specific industries.
This statutory Inquiry is conducted under the Statistics (Producer Prices Survey) Order 2023 (S.I. No. 2 of 2023), made under the Statistics Act, 1993.
Our results are only ever made available to the public in aggregate form and we make sure that it is impossible for individuals or businesses to be identified.
Results are used by Eurostat and help to compare developments in Ireland with other EU Member States. Anonymised survey information may be provided to government departments, approved organisations and approved researchers for statistical purposes only.
All information supplied to the CSO is treated as strictly confidential. The Statistics Act 1993 sets stringent confidentiality standards: information collected may be used only for statistical purposes, and no details that might be related to an identifiable person or business undertaking may be divulged to any other government department or body.
The data you provide in this survey will be held for a maximum period of seven years from the date of issue, subject to survey requirements.
