We thank you for your continued cooperation with the Prodcom survey.
Prodcom (from the French “Production Communautaire") is an annual survey that collects information on the value and volume of goods produced by enterprises in Ireland. This also includes industrial services.
It is based on a product classification called the PRODCOM List which consists of about 4,150 headings relating to manufactured products and industrial services.
If you have previously made a return for this survey, you will notice the electronic questionnaire pre-populated with the products you provided. You will be asked if these are still relevant. Please add or remove products as necessary.
You will need to report whether a product was produced and/or sold during the reference year. This data should be reported separately for goods produced and sold by your enterprise (production on own account / self-manufacturing) and for goods produced for another enterprise under subcontracted operations.
All the monetary values should be reported to the nearest number of thousands (i.e. €3,000 = 3).
The quantity of product sold in the reference year and produced in Ireland by your enterprise (self-manufacturing), irrespective of the year of manufacture or the location of the buyer.
The value of the product sold during the reference year and produced in Ireland by your enterprise (self-manufacturing), irrespective of the year of manufacture or location of the buyer.
If you are reporting an industrial service, please provide the fee earned for the industrial service provided by your enterprise during the reference year, excluding VAT.
