Deletions:

  • Landline telephone

  • Playschools
  • Railcar catering
  • Stockbroker fees
  • Newspaper advertisements

  • Digital Camera
  • Photo printing

Modifications and extensions:

  • Men’s two-piece suit now collected as individual items (blazer and trousers)
  • Cider pint bottle and can in a bar replacing the 330ml bottle in a bar
  • Men’s fleeces now in the same category as jumpers, sweatshirts, and hoodies
  • Childrens runners no longer priced as separate item. They’re collected under boy’s and girl’s shoes respectively
  • Examination fees moved to secondary examination fees
  • Third Level accommodation was moved from COICOP 10 – Education into COICOP 11 Restaurants and Hotels

Combinations

  • Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms are now classed as one item

Splits – splits of already existing product

  • Weddings are now split into receptions and photography
  • Tram fares are now its own item. It was previously part of rail fares
