Despite the name, non-financial accounts are about euro amounts paid and received. They are called non-financial to distinguish them from the Financial Accounts, which deal with Financial Assets. The non-financial account shows the accounts for each Institutional Sector (corporations, households, government etc) and organise the different kinds of transaction into a Sequence of Accounts.
