CSO has commenced the second phase of recruitment for the 2006 Census. In total, a team of about 5,000 temporary field staff will be recruited over three phases. This, the second phase covers recruitment for the positions of 400 Field Supervisors.
The closing date for receipt of completed application forms was Friday 30th September 2005.
Phase one of the recruitment is now complete. This covered the recruitment of 6 Liaison Officers and 40 Regional Supervisors. These appointments have now been made.
The third and final phase of the field staff recruitment will commence at the end of November and cover the recruitment of 4,500 enumerators.
