Provides variables 411 and 412 of Annex B (Construction) under the Short Term Statistics Regulation (EC) Number 1882/2003

New developments/constructions in Ireland

Sampling Frame:

Not Applicable - 88 Local Authorities and An Bord Pleanala

Survey Size:

88 Local Authorities and An Bord Pleanala supply each individual planning application which has been granted (Approximately 7500 to 15000 per quarter)

Principal Variables Collected:

No. of planning permissions granted with the number of units, description, and their floor areas

Principal External Users:

Eurostat, Government (DOE), Tegral, Eircom, Economists, Construction Industry.
