The following bus routes provide services to Rathmines from the city centre:
Disembark on the Lower Rathmines Road near the CSO. Turn onto Military Road. At the top of this road, turn left onto Ardee Road and the CSO is directly in front of you (next to the Army Barracks). A good taxi service operates in Dublin. Taxi rank locations are as follows: › St Stephen's Green opposite Stephen's Green Shopping Centre › Opposite the Bank of Ireland in Dame Street › Middle Abbey Street outsite Wynn's Hotel › O'Connell Street Dublin is served by two main railway stations, Connolly Station and Heuston Station. Connolly Station is on the north side of the city. From Connolly Station, you can walk to Eden Quay where you can get the 65B bus (links to Dublin bus website) to CITYWEST. This bus passes through Rathmines. Disembark on the Lower Rathmines Road near the CSO. Turn onto Military Road. At the top of this road, turn left onto Ardee Road and the CSO is directly in front of you (next to the Army Barracks). Heuston Station is on the south side of the city. From Heuston Station, there are frequent connecting bus services available to the City Centre. You can join up with the main bus services either at College Street (beside Trinity College) or Fleet Street. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank available at either station that can bring you to your destination. Dublin Airport is situated on the north side of Dublin City. A number of transport options are available from the airport.
