The CSO website has been redesigned primarily with you, the users in mind. Our aim is to make it more user-friendly and to make the information more easily accessible. The principal changes have been done to improve:

  › navigation - how you get from A to B on the website and how you find information

  › search - helping you to find the information that you require

  › terminology - to make it easier for you to understand our information

  › design - faster, efficient download time and greater consistency

  › accessibility - designed for maximum accessibility. See our Accessibility Statement.

The website has changed quite substantially both in its cosmetic look and feel, and in the way in which the content is structured.

We have also recategorised our statistical information:

  › New statistics themes headings , and

  › Categorisation of information within these theme headings

The CSO have launched a new Data Dissemination Service as part of the new website launch. You can access our data dissemination service which includes Census of Agriculture 2000 Detailed Results and guidelines on how to use the service here.This replaces the Eirestat Spreadsheet Service. The Eirestat Spreadsheet Service will remain available to users in the short-term.
